Thyroid problems and causes

You cold all the time? Does your hair falls when you brush? Always tired? Can't sleep? Gain weight easily, but can't lose? May issue of the thyroid gland. It is estimated that more than 27 million people in the United States have a thyroid problem and do not even know it. You can come to your MD, and he said, everything is fine, but you still have these symptoms. Your TSH may be high, so you have put the medicine to bring it. Your symptoms are gone for weeks, but now they are back. What's up with that?

Before we can talk about thyroid, we need to understand some basics first. Up inside your brain is an organ called the hypothalamus. The body senses and reads as thyroid hormone, you have in your body. If this low it releases a hormone called TRH or thyroid hormone release so that it can stimulate the pituitary gland. Now the pituitary is also located in your brain and works by managing many hormones in the body. When he gets it in turn TRH releases TSH or thyroid hormone stimulation for activating your thyroid gland to more thyroid hormone. When the thyroid gland gets TSH, it reacts with manufactured substance called thyroid peroxidase or TFS and more thyroid hormone. Thyroid gland then makes hormones and our metabolism should work correctly. If not, there is a problem, a real big problem.

Path, medicine cures thyroid conditions is based on the 1961, almost 50 years, but did you know that there is more than one of the reasons for your thyroid symptoms at the show. Actually there are 6 known causes one suffering from symptoms of Hypo-thyroid gland. So let's talk about six different causes and why they show up.

First, true underactive thyroid. Your thyroid is just pooped ' and doesn't want to make enough thyroid hormones. Pituitary gland then tries to kick it in your pants and get going again with TSH. That is why when you look at the blood your TSH would be high because it is trying to get things going. If you have this may require medication and it can help you, but it's the only one that needs MEDS. Remember, there are five other reasons that don't need medication and can be treated naturally with additions and changes in lifestyle.

The second reason is that your pituitary can be lazy. Your pituitary gland that makes a TSH (only tests MD tended to see), and if she tired your TSH is low. If your TSH little on blood, one would think that you can use Hyper-thyroid, but you'll have all the symptoms of hypothyroid. This is because your pituitary gland can not tell your thyroid to make more thyroid hormone. So what's this? This may be a bunch of things during pregnancy, stress problem of sugar in the blood or hormonal pills (including Synthroid, which can be taken to the first case).

Next is that you can not convert your thyroid hormones, as you should. Did you know that when your thyroid hormone makes 93% T4 and T3, 7% that your body can use only T3 features. T4 should be converted to T3 in other areas of your body. Your liver converts 60% T4 to T3. Your stomach converts 20% T4 to T3. Your peripheral tissues convert remaining T4 T3. So if you are experiencing problems with your liver, not enough acid or the right kind of acid in your stomach or your peripheral tissues as your heart, kidney or muscles are not working properly, you may have symptoms of Hypo-thyroid disease. Now your hypothalamus only reads the T4, so he will say that you are normal, but I've never seen a doctor check T3, which is where you would find the problem.

You can be for converting your T4 you have too many T3, but not enough protein called GTD (globulin thyroid) to carry it around the body. Well this is due to the problems of blood sugar, and, more specifically insulin resistance. This resistance causes and increased women's production of testosterone, which results in too few GTD. If you don't have enough GTD for T3 around you will have symptoms of Hypo-thyroid gland.

The next reason is your body makes too much of a GTD, which leads to insufficient T3 to populate it. If you look at it as a taxi cab driving around New York it will make it a bit more understandable. If you have 3 million cabs (GTD) but only 3000 passengers (T3) once a molecule T3 gets picked up GTD, he doesn't want to let it go. If Yes, who knows where it will get its next passenger. Therefore, T3 never leave the receptors and there is not used. This causes symptoms of Hypo-thyroid gland. Therefore, the main culprit in this case is the oral contraceptives. If someone gets a lot of weight after starting birth control pills, this is what happens to their bodies.

A final reason is simply the thyroid hormone resistance. Your pituitary gland and thyroid gland work well, and do what they are suppose to do. The only problem is that hormone doesn't get into the cell. They have become resistant to hormone and won't allow. This is caused by chronic stress and too much cortisol is produced and circulating in the blood. If it doesn't get in you will have symptoms of Hypo-thyroid gland.

That's why it is important to verify with all thyroid tests to determine what's going on. If you just look at the TSH and T4 you won't get all the pieces of the puzzle. What about total T4, free T3 and T4, free T3, thyroid antibodies, UPS (free thyroxine index), Reverse T3 and GTD. Need to look at all if you want the real answer. Did you know that 90% of hypothyroid patients can and should be of course to handle the whole food supplements and without drugs? Get everything done tests to find the real cause of your problem. Well until next time, good health and good living.
